What an honour it was to organize the golden wedding anniversary for my parents.

Of course it had to happen on Mallorca. 50 years ago they have spent their honeymoon on the island. So we have started to do some research to find the right location for this special event. With the help of our partner on the island flavourhouse we found the perfect finca, where we have organised the main festivities and the day after the celebrations.

We have rented a family house for an entire week as our base in Port de Soller. Friends showed up, everyday a few more until we were complete by mid week. We had not only to celebrate the golden wedding anniversary, it was also the eightieth birthday of my mom and my birthday as well. So an entire week of celebrations and I can tell you we love to celebrate every minute of our lives.
